How are parents and families expected to contribute to the league?

Concession Stand Time — Each family will be assigned at least two evenings to work in the concession stand. Your player will be on the home team at field B, allowing you to watch the game from the stand. If you cannot work on your assigned date, you are required to find a replacement. No one under 18 is allowed to work in the concession stand. Shifts begin 30 minutes prior to the start of games and go until the games end. (5:30 p.m. to around 8:00 p.m.)

Anyone volunteering for the league, including working in concession, is required to complete clearances and volunteer forms. Please submit these via the registration process at bealittleleague.com. More information on required clearances is available at bealittleleague.com.

Soda Cases — Each player is required to donate one case of soda to the concession stand. The type of soda will be posted on Facebook and sent out through the head coach. It is a different soda for each team.

Field Work Day Time — Families are asked to contribute on scheduled field work days. This generally requires light labor like picking up trash, weed whacking, painting, cleaning concession, etc. If you’re not able to make it on scheduled days but would like to help another time (like when your player is practicing) please reach out to a board member.

Fundraisers — In addition to raising money through the concession stand, all families are asked to support their players in team fundraisers.

Good sportsmanship — All families are expected to model good sportsmanship to keep the season fun for everyone!
